Zephyr typeface

This is a typeface created by the wind. I printed off the alphabet, one letter per page, in a neutral, san serif font. My friends then wore the letters on their clothes, rode their longboards, and I recorded the event with my camera. The shapes that the wind contorted the paper are the new zephyr alphabet. The new typeface needed to be placed back into the world it came from, and be displayed on a longboard. I created a type illustration of a hawk, then wheat pasted it to a longboard. The result was a great poster, a new board, and a new typeface.
